We were asked to help with the redesign of an old barn conversion that, while full of potential, felt dark and disconnected from its beautiful rural surroundings.  The goal was to bring light, flow, and warmth into the space while making the most of the stunning views over the surrounding fields.  The layout was reconfigured to open up the kitchen, dining, and living areas with the introduction of large scale glazing and lighter finishes to flood the interiors with natural light.  A new kitchen with soft, tonal cabinetry and natural materials became the heart of the home, flowing seamlessly into a bright, airy dining and living space designed for both everyday living and entertaining.  We also created a dedicated cinema room, offering a cosy, atmospheric retreat that contrasted beautifully with the openness of the main living areas. The result is a modern yet characterful home that feels calm, spacious, and deeply connected to its countryside setting.
